Garlic Alioli (vegan)

Garlic Alioli (vegan)

Aioli (‘alioli’ in Spanish) is a delightfully piquant Mediterranean sauce. It is similar in texture to mayonnaise but with a subtle yellow hue.

In Spain, real aioli is the very definition of simplicity, requiring only two ingredients: garlic and olive oil.

And yes, it is vegan!

Dulce de Leche

Dulce de Leche

The traditional recipe for this decadent confection calls for only three ingredients: milk, sugar and a touch of vanilla.

These are allowed to simmer in a large pot for a long time until, through the process of caramelisation and the Maillard reaction, they turn into a thick and gooey treat akin to caramel.

This sweet treat is eaten for breakfast on toast, pancakes or waffles.

Milk Kefir

Milk Kefir

With a mildly acidic flavour, kefir is made by fermenting milk with kefir grains. It contains a ton of minerals (calcium, iron, phosphorus and zinc, among others); vitamin A, B, C, D and E; and many essential amino acids.

Kefir goes great with your morning cereal or granola. It can also be used in smoothies, salad dressings, or in place of sour cream or yoghurt, or even to make sourdough bread.

Tomato Almond Romesco (vegan)

Tomato Almond Romesco (vegan)

Spice up your favourite recipes with our delicious homemade romesco, made with oven-roasted tomatoes, toasted almonds and a touch of garlic.

Romesco goes great with savoury dishes, including meat, fish, and (our favourite) roasted veggies!
